That’s why I was thrilled to join Doc Heath, Debbie, and Sarah on their ‘Therapy Bites’ podcast couch as we delved into the Psychology of Self-Improvement and dissected the ‘Saboteur in the Mirror’.

Improve Mental Fitness and Positive Intelligence with Colin C. Thompson

Is your mind your BEST FRIEND?
Or is your mind your WORST ENEMY?

This was the powerful question that I posed to both Klaccik and gypC, on their American gypC Podcast.  I was invited to be a guest and discuss the concept of Positive Intelligence and how to build up your mental fitness.  In this episode we determined that if you are in a negative mindset, your mind will constantly sabotage your potential for both performance and happiness.  And that all of your negative emotions, including stress, are the result of self-sabotage.

We went beyond that typical podcast Q&A interview style, and actually discussed and analyzed the results of their completed Saboteur Assessments.  Most of us are guided by our inner Saboteurs: our inner Judge who always assumes the worst, and at least one of the nine accomplice Saboteurs. Often, these sabotaging voices have become so internalized that they guide your daily actions without you even noticing it.

Take listen to the podcast and learn how Positive Intelligence can increase your overall happiness and will allow you to tap into your full potential.   You will learn how to handle life’s challenges with a more positive mindset, and less stress.  If you start seeing every mistake and every challenge as an opportunity, and you actively practice awareness, you can considerably weaken the impact of the Saboteurs and strengthen your Positive Intelligence.

Take the FREE saboteur assessment here and learn more about your actual saboteurs: www.Oligye.com/positive-intelligence

Normalize Mental Health

The last few months has been a trying time for people here in Shanghai, China.  After almost three months of Covid restrictions and at-home lockdown, the city is finally starting to open up.  I am very fortunate to have been able to witness so many people here talk openly about the assistance they needed in order to maintain their mental health.

I started collaborating with Kate back in 2020, with the goal of making mental health normal.  Thanks to Kate, I have learned valuable lessons on how to help people open up and freely address their mental health.  The lockdown forced so many people to directly learn methods on building up their mental fitness and reframe the reality of their situation.

I joined Kate earlier this year on her ‘Life of Emerald Podcast’, to further discuss how we can build up our mental fitness muscles, while in a stressful environment.  Take a listen and learn how to start building up your mental fitness and increase your ability to stay positive in any situation!

Connecting with Diversity and Difference

A great interview with Caroline on her ‘The Crazy Over 40s Life’ Podcast!!

One of the POWERFUL questions posed to me was: “what are some of the benefits of diversity within organizations?”

So many organizations focus on, and take pride in, having a ‘diverse’ workforce.  While this is a great step, this is typically not enough to reach long-term benefit.  Without creating an ‘inclusive’ environment, organizations will miss out on the opportunity to have more innovative solutions, respond to market changes faster, and truly understand their customers.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion – all three, must go hand-in-hand for any DEI program and initiative to be successful.

Listen to the full interview and learn more on this topic and learn about what you can do to be support and promote DEI in the workplace!

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion with Colin C. Thompson

The one of the great questions posed to me was: ‘if an organization implements Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs, what could possibly go wrong?’

Recently Zen Ase invited me on to be interviewed on her Zennury Podcast to discuss Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and the reality of racism in 2021.  It was a great platform to discuss these, all important topics, with her and her audience.  The dialogue between us on this topic, was very natural, personal, and revealed that there is still a long way to go to ensure DEI programs are not just put in place, but more importantly – are effective!!

DEI initiatives that are due to public relations goals, are doomed to fail.  More importantly, it can lead to mis-trust within the organization.  DEI initiatives MUST be based on the principle that all people can thrive personally and professionally!!

Listen to the full interview and learn more on this topic and think about what you can do to be an ally to DEI!

This role can have a large impact on a child and help shape him or her into the person they become. but there is also a dark side when the relationship is broken during the childhood. There is nothing that can impact someone life more than the childhood experience. Most adults still find it hard to fix that broken relationship. In this podcast episode we are talking about the need to forgive your father and why is it important to do it, not just for him but for yourself. As a guest I have Colin Thompson, founder of Oligye Enterprises Coaching, Training, and Business Consulting.

12 Hats RadioPodcast – Stop F@#king Failing! Interview with Coach Colin Thompson

People make the mistake of thinking that in order for them to reach their goal, others must believe in and support them.  Although getting support from others is a great stream of positive energy to have, in order to develop the true “it is possible” attitude, you must be able to be all of the support that you need.  Dave Monk invited me on his ‘12 Hats Radio’ podcast and asked me to provide some much-needed advice for those listeners who are looking for their lucky break, yet keep falling on their arse.

Are you simply alive, or are you LIVING?

The Oliver Schirach Show
The Podcast about Innovation and Creativity for everyone

So many people ask the question about the difference in being alive and living.  A past client of mine said that “being alive is about being grateful for the time that we have life while living is doing all that we wish to do, without worrying about when our time will be up.”  Great answer.  There is no right or wrong answer.  My answer is simple…”everyone is ‘alive’ but not everyone is ‘living’”. Simple…

What about you?  What is your answer?

Oliver brought me to his audience with the request to inspire and encourage them to embrace AND live life!!
